Rahbord Energy: Mohsen Ghadiri, the CEO of Isfahan Petror-Refinery Holding, stated that Isfahan Petro-Refinery will be export-oriented in 2028. According to him, in the field of petrochemical products and the completion of value chains, the refinery will be able to export its products. This will quadruple the refinery’s profit.
He further noted that the holding has made big achievements which include the purchase of 530 hectares of land in Bandar Abbas and the operationalization of a 120 thousand barrel per day project. The project, set to be inaugurated by the end of this Persian calendar year, will add 5.5mn liters of petrol (gasoline) per day and 5mn liters of gas oil p/d to Iran’s fuel basket. This, for its turn, will reduce Iran’s fuel imbalance.
Ghadiri also said two sites of Isfahan Petro-Refinery in Bandar Abbas will be inaugurated and good announcements will be made in this regard in the future.
He also added that the KHT unit, which was promised to the leader Ayatollah Khamenei to get finished within a year, will be inaugurated by mid-June and early July. This, he said, will happen despite delays in clearing the necessary equipment.

He said the profit Isfahan Petrorefinery made last year was 40 thousand billion tomans. This will increase to 150 thousand billion tomans by inaugurating developmental projects as well as sun and wind power plants.
